Jordan Cooper

Jordan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor providing psychotherapy services to individual adults, children, families, and couples. She conducts services from both Scottsboro and Huntsville locations. She is available for in-office sessions, telephone or video call. She has clinical experience in identifying, addressing, and treating a multitude of mental health concerns and difficulties. Jordan’s approach is genuine as she aims to recognize the diversity and uniqueness to each person in order to utilize an integrated, holistic approach to therapy which she believes best fits the varying needs of each client. Her clinical interests include adolescent issues (school concerns, bullying, social skills), anxiety disorders, grief, spiritual issues, and PTSD. She typically works with young adults, teens, and the veteran/military community.

Jordan graduated from Southern Adventist University with a Master of Science Degree, holding dual emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. She has experience in K-12 settings from schools in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. She offers a collective approach with an insightful outlook regarding school issues and difficulties. Jordan has worked in the mental health field in various settings to include a university counseling center, a hospital psychiatric unit for adults, and in private practice before opening her own private practice in Scottsboro.

As an Army National Guard Veteran, Jordan is thoughtful to Veterans, military families, and related matters. She is passionate to serve the Veteran community and care for those who served. Jordan is a native to North Alabama and lives in Scottsboro.
